Unfortunately I agree with the other scientists. I would like to think that if action can be taken now we will work to reduce the effects. Along with this, lots of agricultural research is now geared towards coping with the effects of climate change.

I hope so. But it may be too late unless we all get together and act upon it. Thats a hard thing to do when your talking about billions of people.

Theoretically yes, practically probably not. But we have to do our best that we don’t keep on making things worse.

at the current rate we may be able to slow it, depends what capacitance there is in the system ie what things suddenly go over tipping points
