So, what’s the Agriculture Zone all about?
Agriculture is the growth and welfare of animals, plants and other life forms for use as food, fuel and other products essential for sustaining human life. This zone includes scientists that work in Agricultural science, but they all do different things as their day job.
From focussing on animal welfare, to the development of GM (genetically modified) plants to help sustain human life, this zone shows the diversity of Agricultural science and its role in our daily lives, wherever it is in the world we might call home.
