Hi markwinterbottom5
I think Rebecca is the best person to answer this. I guess there are obvious options including zoo keeper, naturalist, horse racing industry, vet, animal scientist.

Hi Mark
Yep, I’m the animal scientist. I work with animals all the time for my research, and this is the thing I love the most about my job. With an animal science degree you can work in a huge range of animal-based jobs. Other than research, you can be a consultant on animal heath/nutrition/production (working for either government or private companies), an inspector (Government, RSPCA). Others to add to the list include: reproductive technician, feedlot manager, and of course farmer!
Please post any more questions if you have them 🙂

There are so many things you could work on. For work in my department for example look at http://www.daff.gov.au/about/jobs/uvep
