My favourite type of dog is a kelpie, and this is the type of dog I have (her name is Tess and you can see a pic of her on my profile page – she looks a little like Red Dog). Kelpies are farm work dogs that have been bred to work with sheep. Because of this kelpies are very smart and loyal, but have lots of energy so they really suit people with active lifestyles that can give them lots of exercise.
