Question: Is global warming effecting the plants and animals in a way that humans may die out quicker than anticipated?

    Hey Jalan,

    Not sure how it will cause humans to die out more quickly, but I do think that it will mean we need to use different crops, animals and farming practices to produce food in the future.

    Jalan, I don’t think we are going to die out more quickly, that is Hollywood stuff 🙂 We’ll just adapt to the new environment and do things a bit differently probably.

    I agree that we will not die out. There will be plenty of plants and animals that die out though.

    Hi Jalan,

    Great question! If it continues and the planet gets significantly more warm, I’m concerned our ability to produce food from plants may be more difficult than it has in the past. We may have to change our diets to eat foods that grow better at higher temperature or less water. Loss of food production will change how humans survive on the planet.
