Question: What do you hope that the oblivious generation, our generation, will learn about agriculture through this program?

  1. Nice question Jalan,

I hope that people participating in this program understand the importance of agriculture, where your food comes from, and why we need to support agriculture in Australia. Agriculture is really an integral of society – not being able to produce enough food leads to huge instability and disadvantage. If people understand where their food comes, they will have a greater appreciation of it.

  2. Jalan, I don’t think you are the oblivious generation 🙂 you are a smart generation, you guys just have a lot more to learn 🙂 Seriously speaking, I think you will develop at lot more appreciation about what a career in agricultural sciences means and if you would be interested in pursuing it.

  3. Hi Jalan,

I just hope the students realise what agriculture is all about and how varied the field can be. If we can get more students in Agriculture, the planet will be a better place in the long run.
