Question: Where do you get your inspiration from? ;)

Keywords:

  1. The unknown. I’m always amazed that we know so little about biology and in particular how plants manage life on this planet.

I also get a lot of inspiration from my colleagues who share in your ideas and who work with you to solve very difficult questions.

  2. @nickyhelen @siaamanatidis and @jezzdogslayer – this is a tricky question!

I get inspiration from other scientists in all different fields, from looking at animals in their natural environment, and from identifying animal welfare problems that need to be solved.

  5. I’m inspired by the scientists currently working to solve problems who’s work is really making a difference to peoples’ lives. They are doing what I want to be doing in a few years time =) I’m also inspired by the beauty and complexity of nature. There is so much to learn and discover and so much we still don’t understand. I always believe that the more you learn, the more you realise how little you know.
