Question: are any animals or there habits being disturbed or harmed?

  1. We use animals sparingly in our research. When we do we use frog eggs to study plant proteins. Our frogs stay alive for many years and we treat them quite well during this time.

  2. Hey @danenge, I use animals for my research, but this really involves looking at their behaviours to measure how they are feeling, and so doesn’t harm or disturb them.

    As scientists, whenever we use animals in research it has to be approved by an independent committee that makes sure the animals aren’t being unnecessarily harmed or disturbed during the research.
